Serving the pets of Ledbury Since 1954

Ledbury Park Veterinary Centre was established in the 1950s by Mr. Drinkwater as a mixed veterinary practice, serving both farm animals and pets with equal dedication and expertise. What began as a small, local practice has flourished over the decades, thanks to a steadfast commitment to exceptional care and the trust of the community.

Through hard work and a passion for animal welfare, the practice grew in both size and reputation, becoming a cornerstone of pet care in Ledbury and the wider Herefordshire area.

Today, Ledbury Park continues to uphold its founding values, providing cutting-edge treatments and personalized care for generations of local pets and their families. We are proud to be part of such a rich history and look forward to many more years of serving our community.

The History of Ledbury Park Vets

Ledbury Park was founded in the 1950s by Mr Drinkwater as a mixed veterinary practice.  

With dedication and hard work, the practice grew in size and popularity over time.

Ledbury Park has seen many employees and associates throughout the years, treating the pets of Ledbury and wider Herefordshire.

Derek Stoakes joined the practice in 1986 as a veterinary surgeon and bought into a partnership here in 1987.
Derek maintained a good relationship with the town of Ledbury and saw a number of changes to Ledbury Park, including a shift to concentrating more on small animal medicine and surgery whilst still keeping up his sheep work.

2023 saw a change-over of hands to Caroline Queen, Janet Martin and Amber Marshall, a group of vets from Hereford and Worcester who collectively have a passion for all-things small animal.

Our aims are to continue to build and maintain a strong bond with the community and continue on the legacy that was started over 70 years ago by providing outstanding care to our beloved patients.

Starting with the wonderful Doctor Janet and Doctor Amber too, thank you all a thousand times for the way you took care of our Lily. After 5 weeks, two ops, numerous visits to you and a great deal of loving care at home she came home on Tuesday having been cleared by Janet and was her old bouncy self immediately which was amazing. She’s loving her long walks off the lead in the fields, running upstairs and sleeping on our bed !!
