Ledbury Park Veterinary Centre

The practice has been in existence since the 1950s. It was initially owned by Mr Drinkwater who was a veterinary practitioner. He was later joined by the first veterinary surgeon Mr McIlroy. In turn, Mr McIlroy was assisted through the early 1980s by Eden Tanner (until recently of Argus Vets, now Brookfield), Jonathan Lamming (recently retired from Dart Vale Vets in Devon) and Richard Griffiths. Richard later became a partner and subsequently the owner of the practice when Mr McIlroy passed away. Derek Stoakes joined Richard as an assistant in 1986 before buying into the partnership the following year. When Richard retired to Hampshire in 2013, Derek became the owner.

In September 2022 Derek decided it was time for a more leisurely pace of life, and the practice is now owned by a partnership of very experienced vets- Amber Marshall, Janet Martin, and Caroline and Jock Queen.
